Gabriel looked up at the sky. Or rather to that portion vacated by the skyscrapers. The highest was already lit up in red and blue
suddenly felt something cold on her face. Thin slivers of ice, freezing the moisture that is coming of night. Perhaps it would snow. Maybe.
sighed looking at the top of the building, almost felt the weight of the steps. Dozens, hundreds of steps needed to reach its pinnacle. Almost a new mountain of purgatory from the top to see the stars ...
The memory hit him like a sudden punch in the neck. Retracing
, rising slowly, steps from where he fell, almost flying. Scale dark, slippery or wet. Stairs that turn into personal hells of groundwater, the places of all the damned.
Going backwards. Slowly. One step at a time. Swallowing tears I knew he did not have the right to pay. A
burden light arms. Too light. Long limbs, too thin. The darkness hid his face from a sickly pallor. Bluish eyelids dropped over his eyes. A hairstyle half defeat, from which the dark hair, slopes, along the sides of the face.

hugged him. He passed a hand through his short hair. Frozen cheeks. He kissed the scar on his lip.
"I'm late.".
"Never mind.."
"Want to go?" Sign lit up the skyscraper.
"No ... it will snow tonight ... will fredissimo ... go home ...."
smiled in response.
And the white flakes began to fall silently.
